This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, allowing our engineering team to focus on delivering outstanding project outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently. Troubleshoot network, server, and connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime.System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and backups to ensure the security and efficiency of IT systems. Monitor and manage IT infrastructure to detect and address potential issues proactively.User Assistance: Assist employees with the setup, configuration, and use of computer hardware, software, and peripherals. Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance their understanding and effective use of IT resources.Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including computers, servers, and networking equipment. Coordinate the procurement, installation, and decommissioning of IT equipment as needed.Documentation and Reporting: Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for common issues. Prepare and present regular reports on IT performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices to protect company data and systems. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies related to IT usage and data protection.Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support company-wide technology initiatives.
