Receiver, Hospitality - Fashion Island

Summary The Receiver, Hospitality is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and organization of all culinary deliveries and storage systems at the Newport Beach restaurant. This role supports service excellence by maintaining product quality, inventory accuracy, and adherence to food safety standards. The Receiver partners with culinary leadership to track costs and support operational needs across onsite and offsite events. Responsibilities Accurately receive deliveries and ensure proper handling and storage of food, beverage, and non-food items Identify and report incorrect, missing, or inferior-quality products to leadership Maintain a pristine, code-compliant environment across culinary storage and receiving areas Partner with Culinary Leadership to complete monthly inventories and assist with daily cost tracking Communicate supply needs and assist with onsite and offsite hospitality events as needed Requirements 1+ years of experience in receiving, culinary operations, or a related field Knowledge of basic food handling, product identification, and food safety standards Experience reading and understanding order guides and invoices; comfortable working with minimal supervision Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs and to stand and walk for extended periods Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts and must meet minimum legal age and work authorization requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr brobstongroup.com - Jobboard
