Servers are needed for weekend brunch/lunch shifts and some weekdays and evenings. Part-time positions available./ph3Duties/h3ulliGreets guests upon arrival; assists with seating as needed./liliPresents menus/wine list to guests and describes all daily specials./liliTakes food and beverage orders accurately and courteously; responds to patrons questions regarding food and beverage items./liliOpens/presents/pours wines and champagnes in a professional manner as needed./liliAccurately writes tickets for food and beverage items; turns tickets into kitchen/bar in a timely manner; coordinates with kitchen staff to clarify any requests./liliMaintains complete knowledge of and strictly abides by state liquor regulations; verifies legal drinking age of patrons as needed./liliReviews food order for accuracy and presentation prior to delivering to patron; coordinates with kitchen staff to rectify any deficiencies./liliRefills patrons beverages as requested; monitors patrons during meals to provide for all needs./liliSuggests desserts to patrons at completion of meal; accurately takes and delivers dessert orders./liliDelivers ticket to patrons upon meal completion./liliHandles purchasing transactions, which includes accounting of daily sales./liliReceives payment form patrons; makes change as needed; issues receipts./liliClears and resets tables as needed./liliPossesses and maintain thorough knowledge of all beverage selections available and characteristics/description of every wine/champagne on the wine list and by the glass; all menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, presentation, and prices./liliMaintain cleanliness and sanitation at all items; performs closing clean-up duties./liliResolves patron problems/complaints; utilizes own best judgment in resolving issues or refers to management as needed./liliAnswers phone in a courteous and timely manner./liliAssist other staff members as needed to ensure optimum service to all guests./liliPerforms other duties as assigned by the manager./li/ulh3Job Knowledge/h3ulliMinimum of 1+ years of restaurant experience in hospitality or similar environment.
