Summary of Responsibilities The Staffing Coordinator is an integral part of the management team, a leader who works hand in hand with the DON to staff appropriately, helping maintain direction and ease in scheduling and staffing. The Staffing Director/Coordinator develops and maintains a good working rapport with interdepartmental employees, as well as other departments within the facility. Benefits New/competitive wages + PTO Comprehensive Benefits Package Advancement opportunities Hands-on upper management Qualifications Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator/Director within a nursing center or healthcare setting - desired Ability to build strong relationships and gain support from staff Superior organizational skills and attention to detail Must demonstrate a high level of flexibility and ability to handle stress, change and unexpected occurrences Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Duties and Responsibilities Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars Complete nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units Consult with Nursing Department staff and supervisors concerning staff/scheduling needs to reduce/eliminate problems Assist employees with accurate completion and timeliness of Time Request Forms Contact employees via telephone, email, text, etc. to ensure work sheets/time schedules are up to date Answer employee calls regarding staffing/scheduling functions #J-18808-Ljbffr
