Physician - Neonatology Profession: Physician Specialty: Neonatology Duration: 13 days Shift: 24 Hour Hours per Shift: 24 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year post-fellowship clinical experience License: Louisiana license or IMLC eligibility Certifications: Board Certified in Neonatology Must-Have: Recent Neonatologist experience required (within the past 12 months) Cannot accept providers who have not been clinically active for 1 year Providers must have at least 6 months of clinical experience within the specialty Description:We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Neonatologists to join our growing team on a per diem basis.Holiday coverage is needed from December 22-25 and December 29 to January 2.This opportunity offers 24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage.The facility has a 34-bed, Level III NICU with diverse acuity and case variety.You will work in a collaborative environment with 2 Neonatologists and 4 NNPs.NNPs are in-house 24 hours a day.After rounds, Neonatologists will handle home call responsibilities.The unit sees between 1,500 to 2,000 deliveries annually.Newborn nursery rounds will be part of your responsibilities.You will be involved with a NNP-led transport team, while physicians cover in-house during transports.You will be part of a collegial, evidence-based team focused on quality-driven protocols and continuous improvement in neonatal care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
