Sun’s up in Austin and your crew is ready. You kick off a quick huddle, align schedules, verify safety checks, and dispatch techs with the right parts and the right plan. A customer has a tricky system issue? You coach the technician through a solution, follow up with the homeowner, and capture the lesson to raise the bar for the whole team. By mid-day you’re reviewing performance dashboards, adjusting routes, and ensuring materials are where they need to be. Before close, you interview a promising candidate, map a training path for a new hire, and recognize a tech for outstanding service. Your Impact

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of residential service technicians.
• Champion a customer-first mindset that emphasizes professionalism, responsiveness, and quality.
• Own safe, efficient, and productive daily field operations across the Austin market.
• Support technicians in resolving customer concerns and complex service issues.
• Track service quality, customer feedback, and operational KPIs to drive action.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, materials, vehicles, and inventory for on-time delivery.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies, and operating procedures.
• Recruit, train, coach, and retain top talent; build bench strength.
• Continuously improve processes to boost efficiency and elevate the customer experience.
• Safeguard company assets including vehicles, tools, equipment, and stock.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HVAC, field service, or a closely related trade.
• 3+ years leading field teams (dispatcher, lead tech, foreman, or supervisor experience).
• Proven customer service skills and a track record of developing others.
• Strong communication, organization, and troubleshooting ability.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office tools.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred

• Background as an HVAC Sales and Service Supervisor.

Working Conditions

• Open, fast-paced office environment with frequent field interaction.
• Regular travel by vehicle to customer homes and job sites.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather with appropriate PPE.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move up to 20 lbs frequently.
• Drive and operate a motorized passenger vehicle.
• Wear required PPE (e.g., hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, masks/respirators, high-visibility vests, gloves, safety-toe construction-grade boots).
• Stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods.
• Hear and distinguish speech and other sounds to safely use phones and office equipment.
• See clearly at multiple distances with normal depth perception (with or without correction).
• Communicate clearly to convey information verbally.
• Enter data via keyboard or 10-key keypad.
• Reach overhead and use hands/arms to signal, grasp, hold, lift, turn, push, and pull tools and objects.
