Agency CNA – $24/hr (Weekly Pay / Every Thursday) Location: East Elmhurst, NY 11369 (Nursing Home facility) Base Pay: $24 / hour Overtime Pay: $36 / hour Schedule: 7AM-3PM (Day), 3PM-11PM (Eve) & 11PM-7AM (Night) - Full-Time & Part-Time hours available! Mandatory Requirements (No Exceptions) In-Person Interview Required: Must be able to come to the facility for a brief face-to-face meeting. Active NYS CNA License Must be able to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) . Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Duties & Responsibilities: Geriatric Care Support: Deliver compassionate, high-quality bedside care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Resident Personal Care: Assist with patient bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, continuous rounding, meal assistance, and dignified personal care needs. Patient Transfers: Safely perform mechanical lifts, positioning, turning, and ambulation transfers for long‑term care and sub‑acute rehab residents. Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations. Clinical Charting: Monitor and record patient vitals, nutritional intake, and behavioral changes into electronic health records (EHR) systems. Floor Collaboration: Coordinate with staff Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to maintain a seamless healthcare environment. Support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of quality patient care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols. Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment. Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
