Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) or Direct Care Provider (DCP)/caregiver delivers supportive services to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism in their homes.

Job Duties:

- maintain safety for everyone (sometimes managing challenging behaviors)

- care for the home (cooking, cleaning, etc.)

- personal care of the participants (dressing, showering, medication administration, etc.)

- assisting participants with skill development and community integration (identify new skills, help teach the skills, take clients into the community, etc.)

- complete documentation (daily goals, shift summary, incidents, data, etc.)

- help clients engage in meaningful activities to have a better life!

-  Full time and part time 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am

- Full time and part time weekend
