Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency response setting, including rapid assessment, triage, monitoring, and ongoing evaluation
- Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, and manage patient safety throughout the shift
- Document patient information accurately in the EPIC EMR and coordinate orders with the medical team
- Perform procedures within scope of practice and participate in code/rapid response activations as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and appropriate disposition
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, post-discharge instructions, and follow-up needs

Requirements
- MA RN license required at time of submission or eligible for a temporary MA license
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), and PALS or ENPC required; TNCC preferred; MAB preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Onboarding assessments: pass ECG/Tele (dysrhythmia) and medications tests during onboarding; one attempt only; passing score 85%; no remediation or retake
- Non-local travel rule: candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location; local travelers will not be accepted
- Ability to work the 3x12 night schedule and thrive in a high-acuity environment
