Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Hospital SettingFull-Time | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts Per WeekAre you a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant looking to make a difference in a hospital environment? We are seeking dedicated CNAs to support our nursing team by providing exceptional patient care while helping ensure a safe and comfortable experience for patients throughout their hospital stay.This role combines direct patient care with continuous patient observation responsibilities as needed, supporting patients who may require additional monitoring due to fall risk, confusion, behavioral concerns, or other safety-related needs.ScheduleFull-TimeThree (3) 12-hour shifts per weekDay Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PMNight Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AMWeekend availability requiredHolidays as neededWhat You'll DoAssist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene.Obtain and accurately document vital signs, intake and output, weights, and other patient care information.Assist patients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and repositioning while following safe patient handling procedures.Provide continuous observation and monitoring for patients requiring close supervision to ensure a safe environment.Remain alert to changes in patient condition, behavior, or safety status and promptly communicate concerns to the nursing team.Monitor patients who are at risk for falls, wandering, self-harm, or interference with medical equipment and treatments.Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests.Support admissions, discharges, and patient transportation throughout the facility.Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment.Utilize therapeutic communication techniques to help calm and redirect patients when appropriate.Follow infection prevention and hospital safety protocols.Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.QualificationsCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.Current BLS/CPR certification required.Previous hospital, acute care, long-term care, or patient observation experience preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to remain attentive and focused during extended patient observation periods.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.Why Join Our Team?Opportunity to gain valuable hospital experience.Collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.Meaningful role impacting both patient care and patient safety.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Consistent full-time schedule with 12-hour shifts.If you are a caring and reliable CNA who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining a safe environment for patients, we encourage you to apply today.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Camarillo, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
