Certified law enforcement officers may be given a higher starting wage at the discretion of the Sheriff.

Qualifications: High school graduate or GED; no conviction of a felony; valid driver's license; must be 21 years old and a U.S. Citizen. Applicants who meet minimum qualifications listed on the application will be eligible for the written testing. Chapter 8 of the Nebraska Crime Commission on Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice sets forth specific rules and regulations of which we must comply.
