Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Variable Start Times: 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within an acute care hospital Operating Room setting
• Support surgical cases across trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic specialties
• Participate in on-call rotation distributed equally among nursing staff, occurring approximately every 6 weeks and including up to 6–8 shifts per 6-week period (may include nights, evenings, and weekends)
• Float between like units within the facility or to affiliate facilities as needed
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all charting and documentation
• Be available to cover occasional night shifts as operationally required

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Demonstrated experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical cases
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to work weekends and 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care Operating Room environment
• Familiarity with floating to sister or affiliate facilities
• Ability to adapt to variable start times and on-call scheduling requirements
