Job Title Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel Contract Location Wichita, KS | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment Key Responsibilities Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments within a high-volume acute care setting with approximately 250 active consults per day Manage a caseload of typically 8–10 patients per day as an OTR Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient records Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Operate general acute care DME appropriate to patient needs Function with a high degree of autonomy and accountability in care planning and patient management Required Qualifications Minimum 6 months of hospital-based occupational therapy experience Active Kansas (KS) OT licensure required BLS certification required Preferred Experience / Skills Trauma experience in an acute care environment Comprehensive stroke experience Strong communication, collaboration, and flexibility skills suited to a fast-paced acute care setting Why Join Us Join a large, experienced, and highly collaborative therapy team working with a wide variety of diagnosis groups in a complex acute care environment Enjoy flexible scheduling options and a significant degree of clinical autonomy in patient care planning Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 774923.
