Loan Acquisition Specialist II

: Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Loan Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic Loan Acquisition team! This team is the gateway to homeownership for our borrowers. In this position, you will review single-family mortgage loan files, confirm the ability to purchase the loan, pool/sell the loan on the secondary market, service the loan efficiently, and effectively foreclose.

In this role, you will:

• Review closed lender loans files for purchase
• Maintain a minimum of 120 lender loan files purchases per month
• Identify potential issues and communicate with the lender
• Assist lenders with problem solving
• Adherence to agency, IHFA, and Partner State guidelines
• Coordinate with teammates to facilitate a smooth and accurate process

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in mortgage lending
• Ability to work independently with great attention to detail and efficient time management
• 10-key and typing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in title or escrow
• Four year degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent work experience) is desired
• Proven ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships
• Must exhibit excellent communication skills
