Project Overview The selected candidate will initially be placed on one of our four Liquefied Natural Gas Plant Projects in the US Gulf Coast Region for our Energy Global Business Unit, but we may also require the selected candidate to have future mobility to one of our other Global Business Units in a different location. The ideal candidate will have market sector/ sub sector construction industry experience in energy (liquefied natural gas), manufacturing and technology (semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, data centers, fire power generation), infrastructure (aviation, rail, roads/bridges), mining and minerals (water treatment plant, mineral extraction, metal refining), & nuclear, security, and environmental (nuclear power epc, power distribution, combined cycle, defense and space, environmental cleanup). As needs arise in our growing business, there will be expectation for the candidate to be fully mobile. Job Summary In this role, you will lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on the LALNG project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets. #LI-TH1 Major Responsibilities Leadership / Supervision (Discipline Supervision of superintendents supporting 50 to 100 craft or Responsible for Area/Facility) Supervises and directs craft activities, subordinate superintendents, and others, as assigned. (Direct Hire) Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft. (Direct Hire) Planning / Productivity Determines workforce requirements. Coordinates established area operational plans. Tools, Materials & Equipment Oversees tool and equipment usage on the site. Manages the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the craft professionals have the tools they require to be productive. Safety & Quality Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation. Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors' performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets. Technical Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents Manages engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals. Education and Experience Requirements Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree. Required Knowledge and Skills Construction experience on LNG projects Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams. Construction experience assigned to a construction site in a supervisory position. Heavy industrial direct hire construction experience in a supervisory role commensurate with the type of work to be undertaken. Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing, or power generating station construction. Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications. Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards. Excellent communication and problem-solving ability. Extensive Piping experience Addtional Information: Work requires the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limited to: extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.).
