About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead a large team and play a pivotal role in the enterprise, driving the adoption of innovative technologies and ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the technology foundations. The CTO will be responsible for defining and executing the technology strategy in alignment with the organization's clinical, digital, and operational goals. This includes overseeing core infrastructure services, data protection, and technology resilience. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a modern approach, capable of influencing stakeholders and translating complex technology topics into clear business value. Key responsibilities for the CTO at the company include leading the technology investment planning process, establishing and enforcing technology standards, and managing vendor relationships to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Candidates for the CTO position at the company should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 7 years' of management experience in information technology. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in driving enterprise-wide change, particularly in the adoption of innovative IT capabilities. Experience in cloud migration, with a focus on disaster recovery and business continuity, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in a large, complex integrated delivery system or academic medical center and will be adept at building and leading high-performing teams. The CTO will work closely with the Chief Information & Digital Officer and other enterprise leaders to ensure that technology architecture and operations effectively manage risk and support the organization's governance expectations.
