At CHCP (The College of Health Care Professions) , we’re looking for a dedicated Externship Coordinator to support our Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) students as they transition from the classroom into real-world clinical environments. In this role, you’ll serve as a key bridge between students, faculty, and healthcare partners , ensuring meaningful externship experiences that lead to career success. What You’ll Do Build and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare facilities for externship placements Ensure a seamless, compliant externship process aligned with state, federal, and accreditation standards Coordinate student placements and support their transition into hands‑on clinical training Conduct site visits and maintain communication with site supervisors Monitor student progress and provide guidance and support throughout the externship experience Organize and maintain accurate records, including timesheets, evaluations, and feedback Lead externship orientations and act as the primary liaison between students, faculty, and sites Support students with professional development , including resume building and interview preparation Collaborate with Career Services to track and improve job placement outcomes Maintain affiliation agreements and ensure accurate documentation in CampusVue Conduct final evaluations and exit reviews to assess student success What We’re Looking For Completion of LMRT Program or Certificate with at least 3 years of professional experience Completion of Radiologic Technology Associate’s Degree with at least 2 years of professional experience Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple relationships and processes effectively Passion for student success and career development Why Choose CHCP?
