Work Environment This remote position allows for a flexible work schedule, with the expectation of availability Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Some adjustments may be required to accommodate the needs of our clients. You will engage in collaborative treatment planning and remain connected with colleagues through virtual consultations, ensuring effective and cohesive care delivery. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand client needs, using solution-focused methodologies to develop individualized treatment plans. Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement effective interventions. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring a high level of trust with clients. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors, to provide holistic care. Contribute to case consultations and peer review meetings, sharing insights and strategies to continually enhance the quality of care. Educate and support clients and their families, providing resources and information about mental health conditions and treatment options. Stay current with research developments to continuously refine your therapeutic techniques and improve client outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present a range of mental health concerns, including PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, and relationship issues. Our approach is client-centered, focusing on fostering a safe and empowering environment where individuals can share their experiences and work towards their therapeutic goals. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State. Proficient in applying solution-focused psychotherapy techniques to cater to the unique needs of clients without relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills that aid in establishing trust and rapport with clients and team members alike. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with critical thinking skills to navigate complex client situations. A collaborative spirit, valuing teamwork while contributing to a nurturing work environment. Preferred Experience Prior experience working with diverse populations, especially in outpatient settings. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution. Compensation and Benefits A competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
