Key Responsibilities Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify unique needs and appropriate interventions. Provide individual and family therapy sessions that are tailored based on the assessed needs of patients, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment. Complete all necessary documentation, including treatment plans, billing, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring all information is submitted within specified time frames. Develop crisis plans and safety protocols, along with wellness plans aimed at promoting stable functioning and preventing relapse. Create structured discharge plans that provide ongoing support and resources for patients transitioning from therapy. Adhere to all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, as well as policies and procedures set forth by Cayuga Health Care, ensuring compliance and the highest standards of care. Engage in continuing professional development through regular training and workshops designed to enhance your skills and knowledge. Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate on best practices and patient care strategies. Fulfill all licensure requirements and participate in mandatory training sessions to maintain your credentials. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a varied patient population, including individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensing. Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Arizona. Preferred Experience While not required, applicants with experience in telehealth counseling, crisis intervention, or working with marginalized communities are highly valued. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and insurance practices is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
