Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health concerns, articulate clinical diagnoses, and design tailored treatment plans that address their individual needs. Provide therapy in various formats, including individual sessions, group therapy, and family counseling, employing a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy. Deliver crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, ensuring immediate support and appropriate referral to emergency services when necessary. Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment reports, adhering to rigorous ethical and legal standards. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients. Provide education to clients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment modalities, and community resources, advocating for their needs and rights effectively. Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed on current best practices in mental health therapy through workshops, training, and relevant literature. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients are diverse, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a therapist, your ability to tailor your therapeutic approach to fit the unique circumstances of each client is essential in facilitating positive outcomes and fostering resilience. Qualifications Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of New Jersey. A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field. Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities, with a strong understanding of a variety of mental health conditions. A minimum of two years of relevant mental health counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that promote a therapeutic atmosphere and strong client relationships. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong commitment to ethical and professional practice standards within the mental health field. Preferred Experience Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a remote therapeutic environment. Experience facilitating group therapy sessions or workshops is a plus. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems, emphasizing efficient documentation and client engagement. Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation is offered, with an annual salary range of $85,000 to $100,000, reflecting experience and qualifications.
