Customer Service Specialist

As a Customer Service Specialist at Orkin, you will be the friendly, knowledgeable voice our customers count on every day. You'll handle service requests, schedule appointments, resolve concerns, and support our field team in delivering exceptional service. Why Orkin? Navigate Windows‑ and web‑based systems to track routes and optimize schedules. Apply training expertise to schedule appointments, minimize travel time, and recommend alternative routes. Use listening skills and probing questions to identify customer concerns and evaluate their needs. Update and maintain the customer database with accurate information, call details, dispositions, payments, and results. Reschedule unserved accounts within 24 hours. Participate in quality assurance processes, programs, and initiatives. Safeguard customer privacy and proprietary information. Qualifications Love helping people and creating positive customer experiences. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Previous customer service or administrative experience (preferred). Organized, detail‑oriented, and calm under pressure. Confident using computers, scheduling systems, and multitasking during a typical day. Thrives in a team environment and takes pride in providing exceptional support. Work Environment Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodation: Comfortable sitting at a desk and working with a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
