Home Loan Servicing Specialist

We are looking for someone who can provide outstanding service, has strong problem-solving skills, and can handle themselves professionally both internally and externally.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for our company.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to deal professionally with customers, peers, and other employees.
• May be responsible for obtaining and maintaining notary public commission.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in home loan servicing or a related field.
• Familiarity with mortgage loan processing systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Review ARM rate change information.
• Set up and cancel escrow accounts.
• Review all escrow account analysis letters for accuracy and process analysis reports.
• Disburse payment of taxes, insurance, and private mortgage insurance for escrow accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of insurance and taxes on all real estate loans.
• Post member mortgage loan payments and payoff checks, process reconveyance and subordinations.
• Check processing and balancing.
• Assist members with phone inquiries.
• Process modification documents and updates.
• Review and work assigned reports.
• Collaborate with other teams as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
