If you're dependable, knowledgeable, and passionate about keeping trucks on the road, we want to hear from you.We OfferCompetitive pay;On-site parking;On-the-job training;Opportunity for career growth;Casual dress code;Safety boot allowance;Comprehensive benefits package.Pay$40 - $45/hrShiftMonday-Friday, Day Shift, In-Shop Role; Overtime and Occasional Weekend hours based on business needs.Responsibilities:Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucksMaintain and service a variety of fleet vehicles, including Vac trucksTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsConduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standardsComplete work orders and maintain accurate service recordsRespond to emergency breakdowns as neededCollaborate with fleet manager to schedule routine maintenanceQualifications:5+ years of diesel mechanic experience (Fleet maintenance required)Experience working on Vac trucks or similar specialty equipmentStrong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systemsAbility to use diagnostic tools and read schematicsMust have own toolsCDL A or B (preferred, or willing to obtain)High school diploma or GEDAbility to pass drug screening and background checkWork LocationOn Site: 12640 Delta St., Taylor, MIWe appreciate all applicants for their interest; however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
