We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive organization and we are most interested in finding the best candidate for the job, and that candidate may be one who comes from a less traditional background. We recognize that requirements for educational and experience minimums create unnecessary barriers for under-served populations in pursuing employment opportunities in which they may be successful. In considering this alongside our Equity practices, we have removed educational and experience minimum requirements to focus on candidates' abilities to excel based on the responsibilities of the position. We strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don't believe you meet every one of the qualifications described. You will greet volunteers and assist with basic check-in and orientation processes as directed by site staff. You will work alongside volunteers and team members to support simple construction tasks using basic tools, following established safety procedures and guidance from supervisors. You will help maintain a safe and orderly worksite by cleaning and organizing work areas, restocking supplies, and assisting with the care and storage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Throughout the day, you will follow direction from Construction team staff, help ensure materials and tools are used appropriately, and assist with site cleanup and closing tasks at the end of the shift. Your Compensation: We aim to offer competitive pay and benefits and are committed to equity and transparency in compensation. Basing compensation on a candidate's willingness and/or ability to negotiate leads to inequities and bias in how employees are compensated, particularly for historically oppressed groups. Instead, we determine the best possible compensation offer based on base qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity, and the candidate's competencies for the role demonstrated during the hiring process. Successful candidates are typically hired within the first half of the Pay Range and receive scheduled incremental increases. When starting in this position, your compensation will generally be between [Pay Range Minimum to Pay Range Midpoint], not exceed the range midpoint. The full range for this position is [Pay Range Minimum to Pay Range Maximum]. If you need assistance or accommodations in submitting your application or throughout the hiring process, please contact [email removed]. Candidates are reviewed by the hiring manager and the hiring team. Selected candidates will be invited to participate in a screening phone call or virtual meeting. The final round of candidates will be invited to interview in person with the hiring team. Occasionally, we may request that finalists complete a second round of in-person interviews. We appreciate the time and effort that you put into this process. Apply here: We will begin reviewing applications on or after June 3, 2026, and hope to begin the screening and interview process around June 8th. If offered the position, and prior to starting work, you will be asked to complete a background check that includes a criminal record history.
