Responsibilities:
- Performs OB/GYN sonography examinations for clinical assessment and the diagnosis of medical conditions under general supervision of the attending Physician at Central Carolina Women's Health Center.
- Procedures will be performed according to departmental protocols, policies and procedures and established standards of practice.
- Performs high level disinfection of probes following departmental protocols.
- Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor reflective of medical ethics.
- Assesses and monitors patients and provides appropriate patient care.
Qualifications:
- Associate in Applied Science in Medical Sonography required
- ARRT registry with ultrasound credential OR ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
- American Heart Association BLS required
