Extension Specialist - Partner Relationships and Data Management

Position Overview Extension Specialist – Partner Relationships and Data Management. Location: Raleigh, NC. Salary: $52,641 – $55,000. Work hours: 8:00 am–5:00 pm Monday‑Friday. Essential Job Duties The Extension Specialist provides the technical expertise needed to configure, maintain and govern NCCETC’s data management system, while delivering high‑quality reporting and analytics to support the Center’s fundraising strategies and to cultivate new relationships and partnerships within the clean energy industry. Data Management Use data management tools and systems to support NCCETC’s relationship‑building, outreach and fundraising efforts. Organize and analyze stakeholder, partner and donor data to improve engagement strategies and track outreach activities. Ensure accurate data stewardship to strengthen external relationships and support sustainable funding. Data Analysis & Impact Reporting Apply data analysis and reporting practices to measure, evaluate and communicate NCCleanTech’s program impact. Analyze performance metrics, outcomes and trends to support strategic decision‑making, grant reporting and stakeholder communications. Provide support for customer relationship management, services and initiatives, and maintain awareness of NCCETC offerings and industry trends. Contribute to service development and collaboration across NCCETC teams to strengthen program impact. Training and Documentation Provide training and documentation on customer relationship management (CRM) systems to improve staff effectiveness. Develop clear, user‑friendly guidance to help staff track engagements, manage partner and donor relationships and apply consistent data practices. Relationship Management Support fundraising and data management initiatives and train staff on best practices for data entry and accuracy. Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact between technical teams, leadership and partners to drive engagement, transparency and long‑term success. Other Responsibilities Assist Communication team with strategic direction in relation to NCCETC data management initiatives. Assist with project management best practices and establish procedures for data and relationship management. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree with relevant professional experience. Other Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience with Hubspot CRM. Knowledge of the clean energy industry. Works independently and is a self‑starter. Demonstrated project management experience. Demonstrated experience with data verification, management and analysis. Demonstrated experience working in collaboration across multiple teams. Detail oriented. Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Excel. Problem‑solving ability. Aptitude for high‑quality customer service. Working knowledge of Google Suites. Data analysis experience. Data entry experience. Data management experience. Data validation experience. Required Licenses and Certifications Valid NC Driver’s License required. Commercial Driver’s License not required. Employment Details Full‑time equivalent (40 hours/week) with flexible work schedule 8:00 am‑5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Position type: EPS/SAAO, 1.0 FTE.
