Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Skills & Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience providing PT services within a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent physical therapy needs
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Proficient documentation and organizational abilities
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students, identifying areas of need
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to address physical challenges impacting educational participation
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure continuity of care and support for each student
• Contribute to IEP meetings by providing input on therapy goals and progress
• Educate school staff on safe practices and interventions to foster student independence
• Maintain accurate records to track student progress and ensure compliance with school and district policies
