Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience delivering physical therapy in healthcare settings; school-based experience strongly preferred
• Understanding of pediatric or adolescent therapeutic needs and IEP implementation
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to adapt strategies for differing levels of function and diverse student backgrounds
• Organizational skills for managing documentation and progress notes

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop customized treatment plans for students with physical challenges
• Deliver one-on-one and small group therapy sessions within the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Monitor and document student progress in compliance with district and professional standards
• Attend IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations on students’ physical therapy needs
• Educate staff and families with strategies to support student mobility and participation in daily school activities
