This contract opportunity, located near Cranston, RI, focuses on delivering support to students with diverse needs during Extended School Year (ESY) programming. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in Rhode Island
• Prior experience working within school settings, specifically with children and adolescents
• Understanding of IEPs and ability to adapt therapy to individual needs
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational teams
• Excellent organizational skills to manage documentation and caseloads efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a caseload of 14 students
• Assess students’ motor skills and develop individualized intervention plans tailored to ESY goals
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy activities into the classroom
• Offer strategies and resources to families and staff to promote student progress
• Maintain timely and accurate records, including progress notes and documentation required by the school
