A busy transportation and heavy haul operation in Exeter is hiring a Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator to keep trucks moving and jobs running on schedule.

This is a fast-paced dispatch office handling transportation, heavy haul, towing, and equipment moves. They’re looking for somebody with real logistics or trucking dispatch experience — not emergency services dispatch. Strong computer skills, multitasking ability, and transportation knowledge are important for this role.

What You’ll Do

• Dispatch drivers and trucks throughout the day
• Coordinate transportation schedules and customer requests
• Communicate with drivers, customers, contractors, and supervisors
• Enter dispatch and billing details into TowBook and other systems
• Track loads, routes, schedules, and paperwork
• Troubleshoot scheduling and logistical issues in real time
• Assist with oversized/overweight permits when needed
• Review driver paperwork for accuracy and completion
• Help keep operations running smoothly in a high-volume environment

What We Are Looking For

• Transportation or logistics dispatch experience preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with trucking, towing, heavy haul, flatbed, or construction equipment is a plus
• Familiarity with TowBook, Samsara, GPS systems, or dispatch software helps
• Understanding of FMCSA regulations is a plus

Schedule

• Full-time Monday-Friday
• On-site in Exeter, NH
• Weekend and on-call availability required on rotation
