Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification for high school students (or eligibility)
• Experience in resource classroom and co-teaching settings preferred
• Strong understanding of developing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to differentiate instruction and modify curriculum as needed
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and support staff
• Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment

Position Overview:

• Support high school students in a resource setting and through co-teaching models
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers to adapt lessons and classroom activities
• Track student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide tailored interventions
• Communicate regularly with families, administrators, and service providers
• Manage required documentation and contribute to annual review meetings

This is a full-time opportunity, working 37.5 hours per week in a welcoming school community during the fall semester.
