Supervisory Contract Specialist

Duties
Serves as business advisor, ensures all aspects of an acquisition are considered, including risks and incentives.
Analyzes and applies procurement policies impacting a variety of programs.
Develops acquisition strategies, and functions as lead negotiator.
Accomplishes the full scope of personnel management responsibilities for the contracting activity.
Performs post-award functions involving a variety of contract types, resolution of contractor delays, contractor evaluations, subcontractor surveillance, and disposition of claims.
Responds to audit and Congressional inquiries.
