Audit & Assurance - Supervisor / Manager

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in assurance and demonstrated leadership skills. This individual will oversee the accurate and timely execution of assurance engagements across a variety of industries. A key component of this role is providing on-the-job training and mentorship to staff, fostering their professional development while maintaining high-quality service standards. Responsibilities & Duties Help develop staff and create an optimal work environment. Serve as the point of contact for certain clients and maintain strong client relationships. Ensure assurance engagements are performed properly from planning through completion. Identify and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues, providing sound guidance to team members and clients. Identify areas of risk or concern during engagements and be proactive in providing solutions. Review financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP and other applicable standards. Collaborate with team members to improve client and team experience. Assist with staff evaluations throughout the year. Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and professional standards. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance CPA, or plan for becoming a CPA, is preferred but not required 3+ years of assurance-related public accounting experience Nonprofit and HUD experience is a plus Skills Clear and effective communication internally among the team and externally with clients Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel Experience in reporting on GAAP and other bases of accounting Excellent organization and time management skills Full-time, Benefits, On-site (remote capabilities) Neitzel, Luke & Salopek, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals. #J-18808-Ljbffr Neitzel, Luke & Salopek, Inc.
