Other duties may be assigned./pulliGreet, register, and assign rooms to guests./liliAnswer telephone./liliPost charges (i.e. room, food, telephone), compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests./liliMake and confirm reservations./liliMonitor room availability./liliBlock rooms./liliProgram wake-up calls./liliHandle guest mail and messages./liliOpen and close shifts making cash drops as necessary./liliMaintain market stock and coffee area as needed./liliFinalize transactions completed during the day and process credit card transactions./liliPrepare and print folios for departing guests./liliCreate, print, file and transmit required reports./liliCompile daily sales figures and complete the Daily reports./liliComplete End of Month procedures./liliEnsure hotel PMS system is in balance with the reservations system. Correct any discrepancies./liliProvide guests information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel, i.e. restaurant, lounge, room service./liliProvide guests with directions and information regarding the local area./liliAssist in maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, front entrance and surrounding areas./liliAssist in checking all lobby fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance.
