Twice named one of the 10 most innovative companies in sports by Fast Company magazine and one of the top three Best Employers for Diversity in America by Forbes, Levy's diverse portfolio includes award-winning restaurants; iconic sports and entertainment venues, zoos and cultural institutions, theaters, and convention centers; as well as the Super Bowl, Grammy Awards, US Open Tennis Tournament, Kentucky Derby, and NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL, and MLS All-Star Games.Job SummaryWorking as an Senior Accounting Manager you will be responsible for the accounting activity within an assigned account(s) and assisting the with all aspects of the financial activities that occur within the site.Detailed ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate and timely financial reportingPartner with local management team to ensure clear understanding of financial results and goals, and lead action planning when necessaryComplete daily sales reporting and ensure settlement and balancing of credit card transactionsComplete weekly financial forecast for the next 90 daysManage monthly financial close of the general ledger including but not limited to revenue reporting, journal entries and accrualsComplete monthly financial packet per our contractual agreement including processing of wire paymentsWork closely with partner finance team where applicableManage Accounts Receivable process including but not limited to processing payments/refunds, applying payments and processing invoice adjustmentsManage the annual budget processEnsure accuracy and collection of sales tax on all salesEnsure appropriate retention and management of documentsSupport any annual external audit needsAd hoc analysis as neededOther duties and responsibilities as assignedPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experienceA minimum of five years' experience with revenue control, financial reporting and cash handling responsibilitiesAccounting experience in foodservice or retail industry required, foodservice operations experience a plusAbility to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analysesAdept at planning, organizing and controlling complex processes as well as analyzing moderately complex financial informationExperience with POS, cash and credit card reportsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSkilled at managing multiple priorities and relationshipsComputer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in ExcelStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentConformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behaviorAt Levy, team = family.
