Position Overview

MinuteClinic is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative clinical care team in Mishawaka, IN. The provider will deliver evidence-based primary and family care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, health counseling, and care coordination.

✨ Schedule

Clinic Hours:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

• Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

• Sunday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Position Schedule:

• Full-time

• 30–35 hours per week

• Every other weekend

• Possible holiday rotations

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care.

• Accurately assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patient health conditions.

• Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing.

• Provide chronic disease management, health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness services.

• Counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care.

• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.

• Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and well-being.

• Manage patient appointments and follow-ups.

• Complete administrative duties, including inventory, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean clinic environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care.

• Current National Board Certification.

• Master's Degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program .

• Active Indiana NP license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.

• Ability to practice autonomously and work without direct supervision.

• Strong verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

• Working knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management.

• Proficiency with information management and technology.

• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed.

• BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.

• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.

• This is an in-person, patient-facing position .

• Onsite requirements: Mishawaka, IN / onsite as needed .

• Prior CVS/Aetna experience is not required .

• Verifiable High School Diploma/GED is required.

• Unless otherwise noted, the position requires working three out of every six weekends , with possible holiday rotations.
