General and Concierge Pediatrics - Physician - Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY

Concierge Pediatrics - Mount Sinai Solutions: Mount Sinai is one of the largest non-profit health systems in the U.S., with a strong reputation for research/education (18th ranked U.S. medical school) and quality of care (Top ranked hospital in N.Y. Concierge Pediatrics - Hudson Yards: Mount Sinai seeks a Primary Care Physician to provide concierge-level primary and preventive care to adults and children at a next-generation health center on the East side of Manhattan and in patients' homes. The focus will be on providing the best white-glove patient care and experience possible to a dedicated panel of member/patients, including families. We expect to provide much of this care, particularly to children, in the home. Clinical performance will be evaluated based on patient satisfaction - think longer appointments and coordinated follow-up care, NOT RVUs and productivity.

The Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center ("MSAHC" or the "Center") provides care and wellness for young people by providing vital services - high quality, comprehensive, integrated and confidential - for all who come to the Center or School Based health facilities, at no cost to them. The MSAHC advances adolescent health as a national imperative by serving as a leading center of clinical care, specialized training, innovative research and advocacy.

Mount Sinai Doctors Brooklyn Heights is a multi-specialty practice in Brooklyn dedicated to providing exceptional "whole person" healthcare. The large multispecialty practice is located at 300 Cadman Plaza West, Brooklyn, NY 11201 serving a diverse community. The practice is in the heart of Brooklyn Heights, which is a short walk to DUMBO, downtown Brooklyn, Cobble Hill, and Carrol Gardens offering an endless array of restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. Brooklyn waterfront provides parks, ball fields, and playgrounds with possibly the greatest view in NYC. Additionally, there are premier school districts, public and private within walking distance of practice, as well as numerous cultural activities such as the Brooklyn Academy of Music and Mark Morris Dance Studio.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional primary pediatric care
• Delivers primary care to children through both traditional face-to-face visits and non-visit-based interactions (e.g. phone, digital messaging, and video chat) to a physician-specific population of practice members, including children from birth to age 18
• Uses outstanding communication skills to assist patients and families in understanding diagnostic tests and treatments, help patients and families navigate all aspects of care, and facilitate patient and family preparation for specialty medical appointments
• Initiates timely referrals to specialty services and ensures close, regular bi-directional communication with specialists to promote continuity of care.
• Provides concierge-level service at all times, with 24/7 availability by phone to a dedicated patient panel and advocacy for patients within the broader health care system
• Carries out other appropriate professional duties when necessary, including liaison with outside medical consultants, hospitalists, and emergency room providers to ensure appropriateness, timeliness and continuity of care and an excellent patient experience
• Partners effectively with health center staff in all aspects of patient care

Qualifications

• Education and Experience
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a continuity panel of pediatric patients (for Concierge roles only)
• Medical Degree (MD) from an Accredited University
• New York Medical License or eligibility for license
• Board Certified in Pediatrics

Compensation ranges from 143K to 400K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
