Manual Machinist

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Manual Machinist positions in Mount Prospect, IL. Perks: Monday through Friday 5:00am- 1:30pm Weekly paycheck Pay: $27:00/hr (17.00/hr) Access to Adecco’s Aspire Academy ( with thousands of free upskilling courses Responsibilities: Set up and operate manual machining equipment to cut, shape, and form metal, plastic, composite, and rubber materials according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications to determine machine setup, machining sequence, and finished product dimensions. Inspect and measure finished workpieces using precision measuring tools, ensure quality standards are met, and report any discrepancies to Quality Control. Troubleshoot and adjust machine operations by modifying feeds, speeds, tooling, and machine settings while identifying and resolving equipment malfunctions. Requirements: Associate degree or technical school certification, or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years of machining experience. Strong English communication skills (written and verbal). This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.
