Cnc Mill Machinist

CNC Mill MachinistWe are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team and perform complex set-up, operation, and maintenance of 3-axis CNC machines. You will work with a range of materials, including aluminum, fiberglass, and copper, in a clean and climate-controlled environment.ResponsibilitiesControl and adjust machine settings to complete complex tasks.Perform machine set-up/changeover to produce required products or components by making mechanical adjustments to meet product specifications.Conduct first-time set-up of equipment for new products through programming, profiling, and mechanical/software adjustments.Operate equipment to achieve production requirements and quality goals, making minor adjustments as needed.Perform manual production operations such as applying labels, placing components, and loading/unloading equipment.Visually inspect machine output to verify proper assembly and workmanship standards are met.Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities in accordance with machine operation manual or maintenance work instructions.Maintain neat and orderly work areas and comply with all safety rules.Essential SkillsFull CNC mill set-ups and changeovers.G code programming experience.Precision measuring tool experience - micrometers, calipers, gauges.Ability to maintain tolerances of +-.002.Experience with GD&T and blueprint interpretation.Additional Skills & QualificationsCAD/CAM experience.Mazatrol experience.Direct experience with Haas or similar CNC machines.Experience machining within the Aerospace industry.Experience in an ITAR compliant facility.Experience in an AS9100 certified facility.Why Work Here?Enjoy comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Hearing, Life & Disability insurance, along with a wellness program and time off benefits. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
