As a Room Attendant , you'll clean, sanitize, stock, and prepare guest rooms and hotel public areas to established standards of cleanliness and presentation. We're looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable with physical work, and proud of creating clean, welcoming spaces.

Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience is not required .

• Has basic knowledge of cleaning principles and cleaning products
• Can safely operate standard housekeeping and cleaning equipment
• Is dependable and maintains a friendly, courteous demeanor
• Can understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• Is comfortable performing physical work throughout an eight-hour shift
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Takes responsibility for hotel equipment, keys, supplies, and property
• Immediately reports unsafe conditions, maintenance concerns, and damaged property

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and other assigned hotel spaces
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and other surfaces
• Strip and remake beds using fresh linens and inspect beds and surrounding areas for cleanliness
• Dust, polish, vacuum, and clean furniture, fixtures, floors, windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces
• Replace towels, toiletries, guest amenities, literature, hangers, blankets, pillows, and other supplies
• Set up and maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked housekeeping carts and storage areas
• Inspect guest room locks, lights, televisions, faucets, and other equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Secure and maintain custody of keys, equipment, supplies, and hotel property
• Assist with laundry by sorting soiled linens, operating commercial laundry equipment, folding clean linens, and distributing them to housekeeping areas
• Clean patio and balcony areas as assigned
• Work with other hotel departments to support overall hotel operations
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor
• Follow all housekeeping, safety, sanitation, and security procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate Is:

• Familiar with basic cleaning principles, products, and housekeeping equipment
• Able to identify dirt, dust, debris, and cleanliness concerns
• Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable with frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, kneeling, and walking
• Able to safely maneuver a fully loaded housekeeping cart
• Comfortable working with arms raised overhead as needed
• No previous experience required
• Possesses at least ninth-grade reading and writing skills

Schedule & Physical Requirements

• Eight-hour shifts; weekends and holidays may be required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and regularly push/pull equipment and a fully loaded housekeeping cart
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform strenuous physical activity throughout the shift
• Ability to operate vacuums, floor buffers, carpet-cleaning equipment, ladders/step stools, cleaning carts, and commercial laundry equipment
• Exposure to cleaning products and chemicals used in housekeeping operations
