What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll help ensure every part of our hotel is operating safely, efficiently, and beautifully.

Responsibilities include:

• Complete guest room maintenance and repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel
• Respond to guest maintenance requests promptly and professionally
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, appliances, doors, locks, furniture, and general building systems
• Assist with seasonal maintenance including snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep
• Help maintain pools, mechanical equipment, boilers, and life safety systems as needed
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance shops and storage areas
• Assist with painting, drywall repairs, carpentry, and cosmetic improvements
• Identify maintenance concerns before they become guest issues
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and hotel operating procedures
• Work closely with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and other departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences

The Ideal Candidate Is:

• Experienced in hotel, apartment, commercial building, or general maintenance (preferred but not required)
• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely
• Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and organized
• Able to prioritize multiple projects throughout the day
• Friendly and professional when interacting with guests
• Willing to learn and continually develop new skills
• Available to work occasional weekends, holidays, or emergency situations as needed

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, climb ladders, kneel, bend, crawl, and reach throughout the day
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Safely operate maintenance equipment and tools
• Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals, mechanical equipment, and maintenance materials
