Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Job Details: Level 1 Trauma experience required Contract length of 13 or 26 weeks with options to extend Schedule is full-time, 4x10 shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a half-hour lunch Support staff includes CRNAs, Anesthesia Techs, and Anesthesiologists; CRNAs are medically directed, typically at a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio Patient volume ranges from 1 to 9 patients per day Patient population spans all age groups, excluding neonatal; pediatric cases generally involve healthy patients aged 5 and older Departments covered include Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurology; no cardiac cases EMR system is Epic; Epic experience preferred All providers will be required to work in Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA) settings Required skills include intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and general line placement; blocks and OB coverage are not required Board certification through NBCRNA required Active Kentucky state license required; open to licensing assistance Minimum of 1 year of experience required; new graduates will not be considered Recent experience in a large medical center setting required Facility: This is a premier academic medical center and Level 1 Trauma Center serving as the flagship hospital of a major public university health system.
