Security Guard Area Patrol Specialist King Of Prussia, PA Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through the appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help verify that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas, following site protocols for visitor processing, deliveries, and/or contractor access. Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, providing directions and assistance, and reporting maintenance, housekeeping, and/or security‑related issues observed during patrols. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
