CNC Operator -Graveyard

Job Description We are seeking a full-time CNC Router Operator for custom architectural projects. Duties include the set-up, operation, and maintenance of CNC machinery. CNC operators utilize CNC machinery to complete custom projects per specified drawings, ensuring the scope of work is completed on time, on budget with a focus on excellent quality while maintaining a safe working environment. Job Duties Interpret fabrication drawings, bill of materials and work manuals. Set up tools per specified programming and cutting requirements. Adjust machine settings for tool compensations and material types. Check completed parts for quality of cut and critical dimensions. Identify concerns or problems with current design or manufacturing process. Perform daily, weekly machine PMs. Job Qualifications 3-5 years’ experience using a CNC Router in a woodworking factory. Ability to set up and change tools. Basic knowledge of G-CODE. Ability to read and understand shop drawings. Ability to meet deadlines, budgets, and provide quality workmanship. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work between the hours of 9pm to 6am Required Physical Strength Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Frequently. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally. Must be able to assist with team lifting of loads in excess of 50lbs Occasionally. Must be able to work on your feet including, standing for the entire length of the shift, which are up to 10 hours. Must be able to work in and around manufacturing and production equipment, which includes frequently climbing ladders, bending, stooping, standing, walking, twisting, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to see / hear to visually and audibly acknowledge critical safety instructions, alarms, forklift traffic, perform quality inspections, and equipment inspections. Must be able to sustain repetitive movement of the upper and lower extremities with varying degrees of force. Must be able to push, pull up to 100 pounds of force on a regular basis, including moving pallets, carts, glass/plastic sheets, and boxes using a hand truck or other similar equipment.
