Qualifications:

• Experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a high-volume imaging environment required
• Proficient with imaging equipment and related software
• Experience in scrubbing and assisting with sterile procedures
• Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Current certifications as applicable to state and position (such as ARRT or RCIS)

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support in cardiac catheterization lab during invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Deliver patient care under RN supervision
• Assist physicians with radiological imaging and maintain sterile field as scrub assistant
• Operate imaging equipment, monitor and document procedure images and clinical events
• Educate patients and families before and after procedures
• Support organization and supply management within the unit
• Complete thorough documentation and productivity records
• Actively participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Identify areas for process improvement and potential safety issues
