Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, travel position

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab
• Deliver patient care under RN supervision, ensuring safety and comfort
• Assist physicians as a scrub tech, maintaining sterile technique throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Operate complex imaging equipment, document procedure images and clinical events from the control room
• Educate patients and families about procedures, pre- and post-care, and address questions or concerns
• Maintain organized, clean unit and ensure adequate stock levels for advanced procedures
• Accurately complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation as per departmental standards
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives by identifying process improvements and potential hazards
• Support organizational goals, mission, and values

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or relevant certification in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Prior experience in a cardiac cath lab setting strongly preferred
• Current applicable state licensure/certification
• Strong communication skills and patient education abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
