This is really important in delivering the product and platform outcomes that our customers expect.As a Senior Manager in Solution Architecture, you will be at the heart of our technology capability, driving the delivery of complex solutions that align with our strategic business objectives. You will manage budgets, oversee project delivery, and ensure performance outcomes while building and maintaining valuable client and commercial relationships.Your key responsibilities in this pivotal role, you will:Lead the delivery of technical solutions, ensuring quality and managing operational risks.Engage actively in delivery leadership, project management, and client interactions across all project phases.Travel frequently to meet client needs and project requirements.Solve complex problems using proven methods and evaluative criteria.Influence policy and procedural changes with potential broad business impact.Provide direction and feedback to teams, contributing to performance evaluations and the hiring process.As a Software Architect, you will:Partner with customer technical leads, client executives, sales teams, and partners to manage and deliver successful cloud solution implementations-serving as a trusted advisor to decision-makers while overseeing project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.Own end-to-end architecture: from business requirements and conceptual design through delivery, production, and evolution.Lead and influence engineering teams without direct authority; providing technical guidance and setting architectural standards, patterns, and guardrailsStrive to be at the forefront of new modern technologies and bring them within the larger teamEnsure the successful engineering delivery of assigned projects with hands-on involvement as neededWork with the engineering team to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership and published assetsSkills and attributes for success:Proven ability to manage and deliver complex solutions.Strong focus on maintaining quality and navigating operational risks.Capability to manage budgets and project delivery effectively.Experience in building and managing client and commercial relationships.Ability to travel as required for client engagements and project needs.To qualify for the role, you must have:A Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's degree.A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale, highly distributed, cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including responsibility for architectural decisions, trade-offs, and outcomes.Strong background in software engineering, with hands-on experience in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript), and the ability to review, guide, and influence implementation quality.Deep expertise in software architecture and design principles, including microservices, event-driven systems, serverless, APIs, data architecture, scalability, resiliency, multi-cloud, and security-by-design.Experience designing and delivering AI/ML or LLM-based business solutions in production environmentsExperience using AI-native tools to accelerate software engineering outcomes.Ability to communicate in written and spoken form with clients about business needs and translate that into a technical solutionHigh quality organizational and leadership skillsOutstanding consulting, communication, and presentation abilitiesIdeally, you'll also:Be passionate about delivering commercial software products and platforms to marketBe deeply technical and constantly in a state of learningHave the ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with a variety of audiences including developers, clients, customers, partners and executivesBe fearless in getting "hands-on" with technology and executionHave a strong understanding of modern software engineering processesHave a deep understanding and interest in cloud and distributed systems architecturesBe comfortable with ambiguity with a drive for clarityA strong ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and stay ahead of industry trends.Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster team collaboration and client trust.A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Experience in leading diverse teams in dynamic environments.What we look for:We seek top performers with a blend of technical expertise and strategic business acumen. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $151,500 to $346,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $181,800 to $393,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model.
