Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join a growing team in Atlanta and lead the design and development of commercial and residential site plans. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality, buildable civil site solutions. You will be responsible for preparing complete site development packages—including grading, drainage, utility layouts, erosion control, and permitting documentation—while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities Develop civil engineering site plans for commercial and residential projects Prepare grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility layouts, and erosion control plans Coordinate with architects, surveyors, landscape architects, structural engineers, and municipal reviewers Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and code research Prepare permitting documents and support submittals through local jurisdictions Ensure all plans meet regulatory requirements and align with project goals Review construction documents for accuracy, constructability, and compliance Provide technical guidance throughout design and construction phases Collaborate with project managers and clients to maintain schedules and deliverables Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required 3–8+ years of experience in civil/site development (commercial and/or residential) EIT required; PE preferred but not mandatory Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Strong understanding of grading, drainage, stormwater design, utilities, and permitting processes Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Preferred Skills Experience with hydrology/hydraulics software Familiarity with Georgia and Metro Atlanta permitting processes #J-18808-Ljbffr Green Key Resources
