Job Summary:
Located in Fargo, North Dakota, this Medical Surgical Neuro (MS NEURO) registered nurse position is based in an acute care facility. The role involves providing care on a neuro-focused medical surgical floor, with responsibilities including assessments, documentation, completing nursing tasks, and medication administration. Candidates are required to bring their active RN license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12 hours, every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Required Qualifications: Active North Dakota or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (American Heart Association), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, minimum of 1 year recent medical surgical nursing experience in a hospital with 250+ beds, must have Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience, willingness to float to all units/locations in Fargo as needed, neuro patient care experience preferred but not required, experience working in a large hospital (200+ beds), must be willing to get North Dakota RN license if not already obtained.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro patient care experience.
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, schedule varies with cycle of days or nights, with flexibility for self-scheduling and shift trading within the unit's operational needs.
• Additional Information: The primary unit will be 6AB, but clinicians will be expected to float to other med/surg units across multiple Fargo medical centers. The nurse to patient ratio is 4-5:1 on day shifts and 6:1 on night shifts. All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility, and scrub color is navy blue.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units/departments in Fargo.
• Location: Fargo, North Dakota.
