Designer - Tech Accessories

Our client in the housewares manufacturing industry is looking for a Tech Accessory Designer to help launch and grow an exciting new product category. This is a full‑time, onsite opportunity based in NYC, ideal for a mid‑level designer who understands the tech accessories market and can bring commercially successful products from concept to shelf. Key Responsibilities Design and develop tech accessories including phone cases, AirPod cases, charging cables, speakers, and related products Research trends, materials, finishes, and innovations within the tech accessories market Translate concepts into detailed tech packs for overseas manufacturing Partner with factories and vendors to ensure design intent, quality, and cost targets are achieved Collaborate cross‑functionally with product development, sourcing, and sales teams Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced retail environment Ensure all designs align with retail price points and margin goals Qualifications & Requirements 3–6+ years of experience designing consumer tech accessories or small electronic‑related products Strong understanding of materials, production methods, and cost engineering Experience creating professional tech packs and working with overseas factories Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or other relevant design software Ability to balance trend‑forward design with commercial viability Strong communication and organizational skills Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field preferred Please submit your resume for consideration. #J-18808-Ljbffr Fourth Floor
